We’re glad you’re here! It is our hope that you will find Applewood to be a place where you can meet people and feel at home as you study and worship.

We know it can be intimidating to visit a church for the first time, so we have tried to anticipate some of your questions.

Where is Applewood located?

Applewood Baptist Church is located at 11200 W. 32nd Avenue, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. We are on 32nd Avenue just west of Kipling Street. Our worship center is on the south side of the street, and there’s a large education building and more parking on the north side of the street. You can download a map of our buildings here.

What time are worship services?

Sunday services are at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM and our young adult contemporary service, The Bridge@Applewood, is at 6:00 PM.

Music at the 8:00 AM service is led by our worship leader, praise team, piano and organ. Music at the 11:00 AM service is led by worship leader, praise team, choir and orchestra. The 6:00 PM worship service is led by the Bridge worship team and band.

Do you have Sunday morning Bible Study?

At 9:30 AM every Sunday there are Bible Teaching groups for ages birth through 6th grade, and Life Groups for youth, college, and all adults.

Do you have community-based Bible Studies?

Community Life Groups meet on various days in the homes of members. For information about current groups, please check out Life Groups 

Where should I park?

We have great parking facilities on both the north and south sides of 32nd Avenue, and a pedestrian crosswalk for access to either side.

Do I have to dress up?

No dress code! You will see everything from blue jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties, from flip flops to high heels. So just be comfortable!

What about my children?

• During worship at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM there is Preschool Care/Teaching for children ages birth to kindergarten.
• At 9:30 AM there are Bible Teaching Groups for ages birth through 6th grade, and Student Life Groups (Grades 7-12).
• At 11:00 AM we provide D6Xtra for Grades 1-4 (during the school year only).
• At 6:00 PM we have Preschool Care/Teaching (birth to kindergarten) and Children's Program (Grades 1-6).

NOTE TO PARENTS:

All preschool, children's and student activities take place in the Education building on the north side of 32nd Avenue. Ages birth through 6th grade must be signed in and out by a parent. For your convenience, there is ample parking near the building.
