Welcome to Member Ministries! It is our desire to help you find the right fit for you, and then we hope to be able to equip and encourage you in that ministry. At Applewood Baptist Church, we believe “every member is a minister.”

We offer a tool called the S.H.A.P.E. Workshop to help you decide where to serve. In this 2-hour workshop you can discover or review your gifts and where you might fit in ministry at Applewood Baptist Church. Check the online calendar for the next class. It will be time well spent.

We also offer First Serve, which encourages learning by doing. You will work with Member Ministries to choose a ministry area to try, and then decide the length of your First Serve. First Serve also invites current volunteers to explore different opportunities in the church.

Here you will find a brief overview of the ministries operating here at Applewood Baptist Church. If God has laid a ministry on your heart that is not included, please feel free to contact me to discuss your interest.
