Our Vision

To see all children who come through this preschool ultimately come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

To provide a loving, Christ-centered, safe environment in which every child can feel completely welcome, and where every child can learn the basic Bible truths that will be the foundation for his or her faith for a lifetime.

In a time when raising children is often difficult, it is our goal to help you lay a foundation of basic Bible truths by guiding and developing the child’s love for God, Jesus, the Bible and their church. We will also provide you with tools and resources you can use as you disciple them at home.

It is our desire for each child to feel loved and have a sense of belonging as we assure them of their value and importance to God and the church.

The Preschool Place is located in the new Children's Ministry Center, which is the east wing of the south building. All families must check in on arrival. (See Security section below)

We have chosen KidCheck to help us keep our children and staff safe. You can register your family before you arrive, and check-in will be quick and simple.

Please click on the KidCheck logo to create your account now so that you can quickly check in when you arrive.

Also, Applewood Baptist Church is committed to taking the necessary precautions to protect any person working in an Applewood Baptist Church ministry from false accusations or suspicions.

Members of Applewood Baptist Church recognize the need to have formal, written policies and procedures to help:

  1. prevent the opportunity for the occurrence and/or appearance of abuse of children and
  2. protect Workers from false accusations and/or suspicions. Our policies and procedures are not based on a lack of trust in workers but instead are intended to protect our preschoolers, employees, volunteers and the entire church body.
