To see all children who come through this preschool ultimately come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
To provide a loving, Christ-centered, safe environment in which every child can feel completely welcome, and where every child can learn the basic Bible truths that will be the foundation for his or her faith for a lifetime.
In a time when raising children is often difficult, it is our goal to help you lay a foundation of basic Bible truths by guiding and developing the child’s love for God, Jesus, the Bible and their church. We will also provide you with tools and resources you can use as you disciple them at home.
It is our desire for each child to feel loved and have a sense of belonging as we assure them of their value and importance to God and the church.
The Preschool Place is located in the new Children's Ministry Center, which is the east wing of the south building. Infants through 4's are on the first floor. The Pre-K and Kindergarten classes are on the second floor. All families must check in on arrival. (See Security section below)
We have chosen KidCheck to help us keep our children and staff safe. You can register your family before you arrive, and check-in will be quick and simple.

Wednesday evenings during the school year we have preschool choirs and Awana for older preschoolers, and teaching care for younger ones.
Preschool choir meets at 5:55 PM and kids will be taken to their Awana class by 6:20 PM.
Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The Awana program at Applewood is open to kids ages 2 years to 6th grade. Awana meets on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 8:00 PM, and is open to all families in our community.
Awana for 2014-2015 begins on Wednesday, September 10, and registration is now open. See details here.
During Sunday and Wednesday evening activities, church-wide programs, and some special events, we provide a combination of teaching and care.
