We are LIVE!
We also have various times when we offer childcare and the Bible is taught!
We staff our Sunday mornings with the help of parent volunteers and other volunteers from the church. We have a strict placement program that includes background checks, A Safety Training class called "Reducing the Risk", and reference checks. These items in our safety program are repeated every two years.

Each Sunday morning in AppleKids, we meet together for worship, prayer and small groups. Together we take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture using LifeWay's Gospel Project for kids. Our grade level classes provide the opportunity to learn at each child's level and develop relationships with friends and teachers. These classes are available at 9:45AM.
At 11:00AM, KidsXtra provides a worship service for kids 1st-4th grade with worship, object lessons, games and life application through themed monthly series.
Family Worship Sundays are on holiday weekends. These Sunday experiences are a great opportunity for children to see their parents worship, respond to Scripture and give. Kids Worship Notes are available in our Children's Lobby to aid kids in following along.
Each summer, AppleKids takes students who have completed 3rd - 5th grades to Ponderosa Campground for an unforgettable experience! Camp sponsors include Applewood staff, Sunday School teachers and parents who have completed Reducing the Risk and have a current background check on file.
At camp, your child's days will be full of learning, new friendships and experiences, worship, fun and growing in Christ! Each day will include team challenges, worship, Bible teaching, church family time, delicious meals and activities like woodworking, hiking, ropes course, rock climbing, cooking, archery, leathercrafting and more!
