(New) Weekly Update, July 23rd

We are so excited about this Sunday! Be sure to watch the Weekly Update video. Not only are we in our New Sermon Series, Jonah; we are also going to be sharing The Lord's Supper together! Of course, during this time, it's going to look a little different, so we thought we'd let you know what to expect BEFORE you got here.

Don't forget to register each of your family members for church! (Students grades 6-12 have an option to continue to worship together in the Student Room - and will not need to register if they stay there.) As you enter a worship space (Worship Center, Fellowship Hall, or Gym), there will be an "all-in-one" pre-filled communion cup with a wafer on top handed to you. Gluten-free are available too, just be sure to ask.

If you are joining us from home, please join us in this important ordinance - just have some bread (cracker, tortilla, etc.) and juice ready and join us at the appropriate time. Again, we will let you know when to take each element together.

We look forward to sharing The Lord's Supper with you as a body again - it's been too long!

Also, just a reminder that Men's 3G Breakfast will be meeting in the Gym on August 1st at 7AM! And you can now register for the Men's Camping Trip on August 14-16, as well!

You are loved! Be well

Weekly Update, July 17th

Good morning, Applewood!

These are difficult times... It's difficult just to keep up with all the changes! But God is sovereign, and we continue to live to bring Him glory. We hope you stay encouraged and in flex-mode with us, and that these Weekly Updates help to keep you informed. Please watch the video.

Remember to REGISTER for church EACH week! Just wanted to give you a heads-up that we no longer have the white box on our home page - there's now a Register button on our home page that takes you directly to Sunday registration. It's quick and easy, so register today.

So excited to announce that we are starting a new sermon series on JONAH this Sunday! You are not going to want to miss out!

The big change this week: On Tuesday Jefferson County Public Health issued a county Executive Order requiring face coverings in public where social distancing cannot be maintained. On Thursday, Governor Polis also issued an Executive Order requiring masks in public across our state. Up to this point, masks have been optional, but because of the new order, it is now a requirement. If you plan to attend church in person, we are asking that you wear a mask. The good news is that we have worked really hard to make sure social distancing is maintained in our sanctuary, gym, fellowship hall, classrooms, and children's areas.

So what does this mean? Based on the orders, we will need to wear masks entering and exiting all meeting areas, and when we are walking in the hallways.

Obviously, there are exemptions for this order. Individuals ten years old and younger do not have to wear masks. Individuals who cannot medically tolerate a face covering are not required to wear masks.

Some questions:
Q: What about children? Do they have to wear a mask?

A: Children ages 11 years and over will be asked to wear them until they get seated in their classrooms. Once seated, they will be socially-distanced from others and may remove them.

Q: What if I don't have a mask? Can I still come?

A: We will provide masks at the church if you need one. Come anyways.

Q: If I have a health reason to not wear masks, do I need a note?

A: No, we trust you.

Q: Will the staff be wearing masks?

A: Yes, we will be wearing them, with some staff health exemptions.

Q: What if I don’t want to wear a mask?
A: Please know we support those who decide to stay home and encourage you to worship as a family via our Live-Stream.

It's our desire to continue to submit to governing authorities for God's glory. We seek to honor Him and maintain our testimony to our neighbors and our community.

We love you and appreciate you being flexible during these uncertain times. If you have any questions, please call the church office and ask for a Pastor. We can’t wait to see you on Sunday!

Weekly Update, July 9th

We have some exciting news to share with you - we are entering Phase 4 of our reintegration process! What does that look like? Please take a minute to watch your weekly update video to get all the details.

Weekly Update Video

In Phase 4, we are continuing with LIVE services in the Worship Center, and AppleSeeds and AppleKids ministries are opening!

Registration is limited due to guidelines for social distancing and adult/child ratios.Parents must register EACH child who will be attending either AppleSeeds (birth – completed Kindergarten) or AppleKids (completed 1st-completed 5th grade) The Registration link is in the white box on the home page of our website. Registration begins each Monday at 9AM for the following Sunday and closes on Saturday at 5PM. You will need to register each child each week. We are unable to accept walk-ins at this time.

AppleSeeds and AppleKids ministries will be open at 9:45 for Sunday School and 11AM for Worship. You will want to arrive a few minutes ahead of time to complete the check-in process.

We will continue to offer the Family Worship Experience at 11AM if you prefer to keep your children with you or if we reach maximum capacity in our classrooms.

Some Questions:

Q: Why are you limiting the number of children that can register?
A: We are following state guidelines, as well as our policy of two adults in each room.

Q: What do I do if registration is at maximum capacity?
A: We invite you to register you and your child for the Family Worship Experience in the Gym at 11AM. You can also email the church and receive priority registration for the following Sunday.

Q: What are you doing to limit the spread of germs in the children’s areas?
A: All children and volunteers will pass a symptom check and touchless temperature screening prior to entering the children’s areas. In addition to our normal cleaning procedures, we will be limiting the use of shared items, disinfecting in between services, and maintaining social distancing whenever possible.

We completely understand if you are not comfortable resuming children’s ministry just yet. Please know we support and respect your decision and encourage you to worship as a family in the Gym or from home with Online Church.

We love you, and appreciate you being flexible during these uncertain times. If you have any questions, please call the church office. We can’t wait to see your sweet kiddos on Sunday!

Applewood Baptist Church

Weekly Update, June 23rd

Good evening, Applewood.

We have some exciting news to share with you, so please take a minute to watch your weekly update video

This Sunday we are going to enter into Phase 3 of our reintegration process. What does that look like?

  • Phase 3 means that we are going to return to LIVE services in the Worship Center.
  • We will return to our 2 service schedule:  8:30AM and 11AM starting this Sunday. (Sunday School remains at 9:45AM.)
  • We will have Live-stream viewing areas set up in the Gym and the Fellowship Hall as well.
  • In order to remain within our capacity limits, we are asking that each family member be REGISTERED for the specific service time and the viewing location. For instance, if you would like to attend the 8:30AM service in the Fellowship Hall, select that time and location on the Registration screen here. You can do that now for this Sunday, June 28. You will need to register each family member every week. The Registration link will also be in the white box on the home page of our website
  • We will not have AppleSeeds or AppleKids at this time. However, we have set up the gym as our Family Worship Experience at 11AM, so if you have young children, this may be your best choice. Any option is available to you. We look forward to offering AppleSeeds and AppleKids soon.
  • Students are planning to meet in the Student Room for the Worship Service at 11AM. No need to register 6-12th graders if they will be worshipping there.

Some Questions:
Q: Is church online still available?
A: Absolutely, Church Online via Live-Stream remains a priority for us. We encourage you to be safe and worship with us online at either 8:30AM & 11AM.

Q: What if I forget to register?
A: Show up anyway. We will have overflow seating available for you.

Q: When will registration open for the following Sunday?
A: Registration will be open on our website and on our app on Monday mornings at 9AM for the following Sunday.

We completely understand if you are not comfortable returning in person yet. Please know we support and respect your decision. If you have any symptoms or are not feeling well, please enjoy Church Online at home. We love you, and appreciate you being flexible during these uncertain times.

We look forward to worshipping together on Sunday!

Weekly Update, June 18th

Good Morning, Applewood!

Watch your video update from Pastor Derek this week!

We will meet in Sunday School classes again this Sunday. We will also continue to offer Church Online. You and your family are always welcome to join us online from home. We know it may be a better fit for many of you right now, so it remains a priority for us.

Reminders from Pastor Derek:

  • Student Ministry Meeting tomorrow, Friday, June 19th at 6PM. Students, parents, volunteers/team - please join us in the Student Room!
  • D1 starts this Monday, June 22nd. Please register here if you can attend. We'd love to see you Monday night.

Have a great day!

Weekly Update, June 11th

Hey there, Applewood,

Thanks for taking the time to read this email. There is not a video update this week.

We just wanted to let you know that there's NO NEW news regarding church gatherings, numbers that can gather, etc. so church this Sunday, June 14th, will look like last week! We're allowed groups of 50 or less, meeting in Sunday School rooms together and on GoToMeeting, watching the service together in your classrooms. Please feel free to call the church if you have any questions.

Please know that we are going to continue to offer Church Online, as well. You and your family are always more than welcome to join us online from home. We know it may be a better fit for many of you right now. We will continue to work hard to make that experience as great as it can be for you.

We realize that last Sunday there were issues during Sunday School with the internet at church. Apparently, there was an area outage for Comcast on Sunday morning. This meant our GoToMeetings were interrupted, and many of you were unable to log back in. We apologize for the inconvenience and want you to know that we have done what we can to ensure we do not experience problems again. As long as Comcast doesn't have any issues, we are confident in the church's internal systems. We do not think there will be an outage again.

If you have any questions about what to expect on Sunday, please refer to last week's email, located below. There is a link there to last week's video in case you need a reminder, too.

Thank you all for your help in following the state guidelines (required and recommended), refraining from shared food/drinks, and helping us all stay safe and healthy. We love and miss you all!

Applewood Baptist Church, Pastors & Staff

Weekly Update, June 5th

We've got some good news to share with you today. We heard from Governor's office late Thursday afternoon, and want to share with you what we learned. Please watch this video to see Pastor Derek & Pastor John share this exciting news!

Church Gathering - Phase 2

Please note that we will be meeting IN-PERSON this Sunday in our Sunday School rooms. We are allowed to meet in groups of 50 or less. We will then watch the 11AM Online Church service together in our SS rooms. For those at risk or who wish to join us from home, we will continue to have our online GoToMeeting rooms set up and the Online Church service will still be available from home, too.

**If you do not attend a Sunday School class, please click to Register for a class for Sunday.

We are so excited to meet together and see you soon, Church! Here are some of the Guidelines we put in place for your safety.

TOUCHLESS EXPERIENCE

In order to provide a touchless worship experience, there’ll be no doors to open, no handouts to take, and no offering plates to pass. AppleSeeds, AppleKids, and all food and beverage service will also be suspended for the time being. No food or beverage may be brought in by individual attendees to share with others; you may, however, bring your own coffee.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • Avoid any close congregating or crowding before, during, or after the service.
  • Refrain from hugging, shaking hands, etc.
  • Entering and exiting buildings should include at least 6 feet physical distancing by party.  A “party” includes members of a household who live together.
  • Seating will be arranged in such a way as to maintain at least 6 feet of distance in every direction between individuals or parties.

CONSTANT SANITIZATION

In order to provide a safe and secure worship experience, many functions are in place. There will be numerous sanitization stations located throughout the facility, and meeting spaces and restrooms will be sanitized following CDC guidelines.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

The church isn’t the Church without you, and we need your help!

  • Pray for wisdom, clarity, and discernment as we strive to provide a safe and secure worship experience.
  • Plan to join us online from home if you’re not ready to come back, if you’re sick, exposed to the virus, or in the high-risk category (65+ or have a pre-existing condition).
  • Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged, but NOT required - it is a personal choice.
  • Please follow posted signs at entries/exits/bathrooms.
  • If you attend with children, please plan to bring quiet activities for your children. Worship activity bags will be available as you enter the building.

Please be thoughtful and gracious to others as we return to our buildings. This is new, we are all going to be unsure and things will feel awkward. That's OK. Come let us worship together!

COMMUNICATION & CONNECTION

Thursday, May 7, is National Day of Prayer - Join us with GoToMeeting - the link will be on our Home Page a few minutes before 10AM.

Sunday, May 10, is Mother's Day - As we mentioned last week, be sure to send your pictures to info@applewoodbaptist.com.

Sunday, May 17, we will be celebrating our High School Seniors! Watch for more information coming soon. With all they've lost this year, let's celebrate them as much as possible as a church.

During this time, won't you please go to our website, click the Log In button, and review your information in TouchPoint? Watch this short video for a walk-through.

DISCIPLESHIP

Our next D1 class will start when we can gather 50 people. Please consider taking this class and register online now so we can communicate with you. It will be on Monday nights at 6:30PM in the Fellowship Hall. It is tentatively scheduled to start May 11th, but we will keep you updated.

Women's Spring Bible Study is on The Beatitudes. You can still register! It's going to be a great time together on Tuesdays! There's a 9:30AM option or a 6PM option.

GIVING

Thank you for your generosity during this time. Please continue to give  - we are seeing the needs increase, and we continue to serve our community in even greater ways.

We will be delivering our snack/water donations to Lutheran Hospital. Thank you to those that brought donations!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

If you have a Facebook account, would you please Like and Share our post for Sunday Online Church Service at 11AM? We are praying for 100 Shares each week as we try to reach more unchurched people. It's super simple and it would allow us to reach more people for Christ.

Kids of all ages - we have a great way you can help, too! Just draw/color/paint/create something about SPRING! Be sure to include your first name and age on the back. We have coordinated with a local nursing home, and if your parents will drop off your pictures at the church (mailbox on the S. side/glass doors) we will get them to where they can help encourage and bring a smile! Many of these folks have not been allowed visitors for a while, so this might help make someone's day! Thank you for your help! We will be collecting pictures through May 7th.

RETURNING TO SERVICES

Please start preparing your family for the things that will be different when we return. For example, we will most likely have to wear masks and practice social distancing (sit further apart) with a smaller number of people as a maximum per room. Please be flexible and gracious with us as we comply with these important changes to protect our vulnerable.

We love each of you and look forward to seeing you soon!

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

Please check your email next Thursday for what is happening and decisions being made regarding our services and ministries. This Saturday's Video Update will be the last for a while.

During this time, won't you please go to our website, click the Log In button, and review your personal contact information in TouchPoint?  Please add your profile picture - it would be so helpful if you could. Questions? Email us.

2.) DISCIPLESHIP

Thursday Update, April 16th

Hello Church,

Hope you had a wonderful Easter and are staying encouraged! We want to update you regarding specific ways we can continue to serve our community during this time.

  1. Give Blood: You can sign up here to give blood at the Denver West location. They are scheduling the week of April 27 currently.
  2. Help make Masks: Many of you who sew can help. If you are interested, and need a pattern, send us an email
  3. Kids Art/Cards: Have kids draw pictures of "Spring" and drop them off in the mailbox on the south side of the church (Children's Center Entrance, glass doors). We have coordinated with a local hospital and nursing home and will ensure they get delivered.
  4. Donations for Hospitals: Support our local hospitals and their staff. When asked how we could help, Lutheran Hospital let us know they could use high-protein snacks (bars, cheese/crackers, etc.) and water bottles. Drop donations at the church, 9am - 3pm Monday - Thursdays only, at the South glass doors and we will ensure they get delivered.
  5. Serve with Mean Street Ministries: We partner with them, and they need help Monday and Tuesday nights serving residents of motels. Or you can donate items to their Colfax and Carr - they need unopened unexpired food. They also need blankets and clothing - all ages all sizes. Contact them directly.
  6. PRAY for protection for our people, pastors, and staff. Pray for those who have lost loved ones.
  7. Share Stories - If you have a God-story, or know of one, consider sharing a picture on FB and tag ApplewoodBaptist. Also copy and paste these hashtags: #ApplewoodBaptist #Covid19 #helpaneighbor Let our church and community know we are here to help.

You are amazing! Love you,
Pastor Derek

April 9th Update

Happy Holy Week, Church! What a week it's been so far! I am so excited about this weekend and hope you can join us. Please be in prayer for God to use our services to glorify HIS NAME! Our service details are below:

  • Good Friday Service online at 6:30PM - head over to FaceBook Live or our Live Stream page. We will be remembering our Lord's death on the cross in our place. For us, He was Forsaken.
  • EASTER Online at 11AM - we will be celebrating Christ's resurrection and the JOY it brings.

I want to send out a HUGE Thank You to our Sunday School Leaders! They are doing such a great job shepherding, loving, and caring for the needs of so many during this time. I am so grateful for their leadership this week organizing all the different prayer gatherings. The prayer gatherings have been so powerful and a huge blessing – God hears our hearts' petitions.

I encourage you to reach out to your neighbors during this time. God has given us a great opportunity to reach out and to let people know we care. We want to help you do that, so on our website, there's a link in the white box called "Help A Neighbor". This links to a .pdf that you can print at home, cut into fourths, fill out and leave for your neighbors - it just lets them know you are thinking of them, are there for them, and are willing to help if needed. Go check that out. If you don't have a printer at home, use a 3x5 card or piece of paper and write out the same information.

I am convinced by Scripture and the leading of our Lord Jesus Christ, that if faithful, our church will come through this crisis, made even stronger. That is why we have increased ministering to our people and community at a time when many churches are simply trying to survive. And that is why I am asking you to help us through these uncharted waters. First, pray with Firdaus and me that God blesses our efforts to make disciples during this season. Second, join us in giving. The next few months will be challenging for many of Applewood's families. If you are able, now is a great time to give above and beyond—whether with a one-time gift or simply by increasing your regular giving. And if you receive a stimulus check, consider giving a portion to our benevolence fund to directly help those who are struggling. We desire to be a first-century church in the twenty-first century!

I want to encourage you with what God told Abraham when He set him apart to be the father of many nations. This promise is found in Genesis 12:2.

“I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing."

Church, we have been so blessed! May we steward God’s blessings to reach as many people as possible with the Good News of Jesus!!!
I love you so much and miss you dearly!
Pastor Derek

April 2nd - Update

Good Morning Church,

I hope this email finds you well and you are staying encouraged! Watching our church respond to this crisis has been so INSPIRING! I appreciate all the encouragement, the sacrificial love being displayed for each other, and the incredible generosity! I am so grateful to be a part of this family and long to be able to worship together again!!!

This Sunday, we are going to be starting a new series from the book of Psalms called Awake My Soul. Donald Whitney, a scholar and author, states that the Book of Psalms gives us "a song for every sigh of the soul". In this book of songs, it seems that the whole range of human emotions is displayed for us. This timely sermon series explores how in God, our souls are awakened to truth, beauty, and hope in a world full of suffering. I look forward to sharing what God has to say to us during these uncertain times!

Some weekly reminders and links:

Online Services:

  • This Sunday, April 5th - Watch Live button on website
  • Good Friday - April 10th at 6:30PM - Forsaken
  • Easter - April 12th at 11AM - The JOY of the Resurrection

Please let us know if there is anything you need or we can help serve you in any way. Please continue to be generous and missional with all the time and resources God has entrusted to you. I want to end with a verse from Psalm 3, “But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head."

Love each of you very much!
Pastor Derek

March 26th - Update

I hope you are staying encouraged! Find ways to enjoy this time of rest, family time, and being home. Remember to social distance, stay home, and watch for the Saturday Update video! A link will be emailed out and it will also be available on our website by noon on Saturday.

It was such a blessing to have our Sunday School classes meet online last week! It was great to see each other's faces and hear your voices and connect and share! A HUGE thank you to our teachers/leaders! Don't forget to use your GoToMeeting links for Online Sunday School at 9:45AM. Please let us know via email or phone if you haven't already been contacted and would like to join a class. After SS, join us for Online Church on Sunday at 11AM as Pastor Derek finishes up 2 Timothy - what a great epistle!  The best way to join is to click the Watch Live button on our website.

We are excited to offer you a Prayer Guide specifically for this time - so that we can remain in prayer together as a church. It will be available on our website on the Abide page. Remember to stay in the Word together, and PRAY with and for each other!

Be encouraged - our church is getting stronger through this in MANY ways! One way is through technology. It's pushing us all to learn new things and make changes in order to stay connected AND reaching people in new ways. I can't wait to share some stories when we are back together. We're learning some new technology, tweaking things, and trying to be sure we serve the Church - you guys!! Let us know if we can help you! Just email info@applewoodbaptist.com or call the church at 303-232-9575.

Know you are loved!
Pastor Derek Jones

March 19th - COVID-19 Update

Your pastors and church staff have been meeting and praying for the last few days about how we can faithfully respond to the COVID-19 pandemic as a church. As you most likely know, the CDC has recommended gatherings be limited to under 10 people at this time and the President has asked us to stay at home if we can. As Christians, we are called to submit to the governing authorities. (Romans 13:1-7) Let us remember to ask God for wisdom for our leaders and continue to lift them up in prayer. (1 Tim 2:1-3)

I want to share with you what our 6-point response is as a church. Please let us know if you have any questions, ministry ideas, or prayer requests by emailing info@applewoodbaptist.com.

Our Response

1. Online Services (Church at Home)

We are canceling all activities at the church through April 3. We will reassess as the situation changes. We will email and post on the website Pastor Derek’s Saturday Updates, and continue to stream our services online at 11 AM each Sunday morning. You can access the live-stream. You can also access the service on Facebook Live

2. Member Care

We want to continue to provide care to our members during this unprecedented time. Therefore, we have created a list of our most vulnerable members and regular attenders who are 60 and older. We are calling each of them to check on them and find out if they have any needs that we might be able to meet. If you are in that category and do not receive a call, please let us know and we will add you to this list. We hope to call weekly going forward.

We are also calling all other Members/Regular Attenders. We also want to strongly encourage all Sunday School classes and small groups to check up on one another and communicate with the pastoral staff any needs that may arise. If you have a prayer request or need, please email us.

3. Community Outreach

We will be in contact with community leaders, other churches, and organizations such as hospitals, etc. to see if we might be able to help. We are simply calling and asking how they might be able to use us to meet the needs of our community during this time. If you are able to volunteer, please fill out this form. If you know of an organization that needs help, please email us.

4. Church Administration

We believe that this is a critical time for us as a church to be good stewards of what God has given us. Therefore, we have put a spending freeze on all non-essential spending as a staff. Secondly, we are adjusting the use of our building so that we might reduce our energy bills. We are also encouraging our employees to use technology and teleworking when possible. If you call the church and get voicemail, leave us a message and someone will get back to you shortly.

5. Community/Discipleship at Home

One of the unique opportunities that this crisis has presented is a renewed focus on the need for community/discipleship at home. Over the next few days, we will be revealing our vision to stay connected as a community through a virtual platform called "GoToMeeting". Also, we will be sending resources to help you continue to grow in your relationship with God and knowledge of His Word. Please watch for these emails.

6. Giving

We are grateful for the generosity of the members and regular attenders of Applewood Baptist Church. Every week when we gather, we take an offering to allow us to worship through our giving of tithes and offerings. As we are not able to meet, we cannot do this in the usual way. We are asking you as members and regular attenders to continue supporting the work of our church through your tithes and offerings. There are two ways that you can do that.

1. You can give by check or cash.
You can bring it by the church office and place it in the secure mailbox on the south side of the building. You can also mail your check to the church at 11200 W. 32nd Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
2. You can give online.
Simply click here to give online. We have a completely secure way of giving online. You can make a one-time gift or set up a recurring donation that can even come out of your bank account at the interval of your choosing. If you have any questions, please email Laura Schwartz.

Pastoral Exhortation

This a very serious situation and I want to encourage you to take it seriously by following the recommendations of the CDC such as social distancing, frequently washing your hands, and avoiding larger gatherings. As Christians, we should seek to understand what is going on in the world around us. However, we should not despair.

Let's be reminded that the world is not spinning out of control. God is sovereign. He’s ruling and reigning. We can trust Him. May the words of this beautiful Psalm encourage us.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

March 12th - Our Response to COVID-19

With the ongoing health concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to NOT hold public services for the next few weeks, and instead will have ONE ONLINE SERVICE at 11AM Sundays. For now, all activities at the church during the week are canceled as well.

Since things change rapidly, we will send a weekly email update SATURDAY mornings regarding the next day's services and the following week's activities. We will also post it online on our website. Please check your email, our website, and social media for plans for the next day (Sunday) and the following week. If you have any questions, email them here. As a health resource, please check with the CDC.

As you may know, President Trump has made updated recommendations, which are available on your favorite news website, etc. In support of this initiative, we are moving to ONE ONLINE SERVICE at 11AM on Sundays. We have a large congregational family, with many in the at-risk category, so we have a responsibility to do what is prudent and in the best interest of every person who calls our church home.

This is an incredible opportunity to be light to those in darkness, to offer the peace of Christ to those with no peace. Please remember your neighbors, especially those who are single or alone. Remember to cling tightly to the Word of God and the hope we have in Christ alone. Jesus said... "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Remember to be the hands and feet of Jesus - showing love and compassion as He did. We are not ruled by fear or consumed by worry about what might happen. Know your pastors are praying for you. Here is an article that might help you process things during this time: LINK

We know that each of you has different circumstances and know what is best for you and your family. Please prayerfully consider these decisions, and support and respect the decisions of others. Let's err on the side of GRACE. While we walk by FAITH, we also want to be WISE.

Please join us ONLINE on Sunday at 11AM. Please continue to be faithful in your giving. Remember you can securely GIVE online, too. We cannot maintain our ministries and serving our community without your tithes and offerings! PRAY for each other, our government leaders, and for continued wisdom for us. (James 1:5)

Thank you. Be well.
